I have been living with cancer for the last 6 years.
I was diagnosed Li Fraumeni Syndrome in October of 2019. I had just learned I had a very aggressive bone cancer while I was inpatient at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital.
Since then I have had a double mastectomy, hysterectomy, and three jaw resections.
I have exhausted my options outside of the chemo and radiation treatments I have done.
I currently am taking my chemo orally at home. Not having my insurance active currently has been a big problem.
I am in the process of having my disability reinstated. I had to hire a lawyer because of the circumstances.
I have not been well enough to work. I have been struggling for the last couple years since MBC and finally crashed out. It’s hard admitting when you need help and can’t take care of yourself alone anymore.
thank you to everyone who has made it possible for me to still be here with my family today. I have an immense amount of gratitude I hope I may repay one day.
the funds I have raised have helped me keep my bills paid, a roof over my families heads and food in their bodies.
not having health insurance has also made my budget even more of a mess than usual. but this is a crazy economy to have a house of five in. Any and all donations have gone into make bank account and go towards the bills.
I have to believe I can make it through this to do so. If you see me being delusional, you know why.
