Aiden was born with a right multicyclic dysplastic kidney and a left cystic dysplastic kidney. The right kidney was full of cysts and never developed properly which also unfortunately means that it never had any function. His left kidney has slowly declined in function over his 15 years of life and is now also unfortunately failing as well. This is why he desperately needs a kidney transplant to save his life.
